Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure

Healing with Meditations is free to read. It is paid for by advertising and, in some articles, by affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), the UK CAP Code, EU consumer protection rules and Google’s publisher policies.
1. Display advertising
We display advertisements through Google AdSense (publisher ID pub-7154604851132509) and its partner networks.
- Advertisements are chosen automatically by Google’s systems. We do not select, review or endorse individual advertisers, and the appearance of an advertisement is not a recommendation.
- Advertising units are visually separated from editorial content and labelled as advertising. If you ever find an advertisement on this Site that you believe is disguised as editorial content, please tell us and we will fix it.
- As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies to serve ads on this Site. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or through the consent controls described in our Cookie Policy. Opting out does not remove advertising; it makes it non-personalised.
2. Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same, and the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.
Where affiliate links appear, they are marked at the top of the article or beside the link itself, so you know before you click. Affiliate links carry the appropriate rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute.
Programmes we participate in may include, from time to time, Amazon Associates and other retailer, publisher or wellness-product affiliate programmes. Where we are a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, we earn from qualifying purchases.
3. Sponsored and gifted content
If an article, video or section is paid for, sponsored, or based on a product we were given free of charge, it is clearly labelled as such at the top of the page, before the content begins — never buried at the end or hidden in small print.
We do not accept payment to publish an undisclosed advertisement, and we do not publish paid links inside otherwise editorial articles.
4. Editorial independence
Commercial relationships do not decide what we publish or what we conclude.
- An advertiser or affiliate partner cannot buy a favourable mention, alter an article, or have criticism removed.
- We recommend things because we think they are useful, and we say plainly when something is not worth buying — including when there is a commission attached.
- We do not accept advertising or affiliate relationships for products that claim to cure, treat or prevent illness, or for “curse removal”, paid psychic readings or similar services.
5. What we do not do
- We do not ask you to click advertisements, and we never suggest that clicking supports the Site. Doing so would breach Google’s policies and we take that seriously.
- We do not place advertisements so that they may be clicked by accident, or format content to look like an advertisement (or the reverse).
- We do not sell your personal information for money. Serving personalised advertising may count as “sharing” under some US state privacy laws — see the Cookie Policy for how to opt out.
