Editorial Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
Healing with Meditations writes about two different kinds of thing, and we try never to blur them: practices with evidence behind them, such as meditation and breathing, and traditions that are symbolic, such as auras, chakras and angel numbers. This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to.
1. What we publish, and how we frame it
- We say which is which. Where a claim rests on research, we say what the research actually shows, including how small or mixed it is. Where a claim belongs to tradition, we say so plainly rather than dressing it up as science.
- We do not make health claims. No article on this Site says that a tone, a frequency, a colour, a number or a practice treats, cures or prevents any illness. Where such claims circulate elsewhere, we explain why they are not supported.
- We do not predict. Card draws, numerology calculations and quizzes are for reflection and entertainment. They do not foretell events and we never present them as if they did.
- We point people to real help. Where a topic touches on depression, anxiety, trauma, pain or crisis, we say clearly that it belongs with a qualified professional, and we do not encourage anyone to delay care.
2. Sourcing and accuracy
We use primary sources where they exist — peer-reviewed studies, systematic reviews, and the authoritative texts of the traditions we describe — and we link to them so readers can check for themselves. We do not present a single small study as settled fact, and we do not cite marketing material as evidence.
Openly licensed material, such as text adapted from Wikipedia, is attributed with a link to the source and its licence. Quotations are kept short and credited.
3. Authorship and expertise
Articles are written and edited by the Healing with Meditations editorial team, which combines long-standing personal practice in meditation and sound work with editorial research. We are not doctors, psychologists or licensed therapists, and we do not present ourselves as such. Where clinical questions arise, we say so and direct readers to qualified professionals.
Articles are published under the Healing with Meditations editorial byline. If you have a question about who wrote a particular piece, or about the sources behind it, write to us and we will answer.
4. Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, structure and editing. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a person before publication, and a person is accountable for what appears. We do not publish unreviewed machine output.
5. Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Substantive corrections are made in the article and noted with the date. Minor typographical fixes are made silently. To report an error, write to info@healingwithmeditations.com with the URL and the problem, and we will respond.
6. Updates and review
Articles carry a published date and, where relevant, a last-updated date. We review our most-read pages periodically and revise them where evidence, guidance or links have changed.
7. Independence from advertising
Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine what we publish or what we conclude. Sponsored or affiliate content is labelled before the content begins. See our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.
8. Comments and community
We moderate comments. We remove spam, abuse and anything presenting medical claims as fact, and we may remove content that could lead a reader to delay care. We do not remove reasonable criticism of our work.
